INTRO TO HOCKEY

Welcome to the Foothills Minor Hockey

Intro to Hockey is for players aged 5-8.

U7 ages 5 and 6

U9 ages 7 and 8

Equipment Required:
  • -Helmet
    -Neck guard
    -Shoulder pads
    -Elbow pads
    -Gloves
    -Jock
    -underarmour (pants with velcro to hold up socks), or garter
    -fitted pants to wear under equipment if using garter
    -Hockey pants
    -Shin pads
    -1 practice jersey
    -1 set of Hockey socks
    -Skates
Respect in Sport-Parent
  • Hockey Alberta and FMHA requires that one parent per registered family take the Respect in Sport-Parent course. This course is mandatory and can be taken before your child is registered. This course expires every 3 years.
