REGISTRATION

Regular Registration will open June 1, 2025 for the 2025/2026 season.

Registration will be open after August 1 if space is available.

After August 15 a late fee will apply.

Before you register your RETURNING PLAYER you will need

  • Hockey Canada Number
  • Alberta Health Care Number
  • Doctor's name & phone number
  • Dentist name & phone number
  • Current Respect in Sport Parent Account

In addition NEW PLAYERS to FMHA are required to complete the Respect In Sport Parent Course first.  Please make sure you select FOOTHILLS MINOR HOCKEY as your HOME Association.

AFTER this is complete contact the Operations Manager for your Hockey Canada Number.  Upon registration be prepared to provide the following documents:

  • Hockey Canada Number
  • Alberta Health Care Number
  • Doctor's name & phone number
  • Dentist name & phone number
  • Current Respect in Sport Parent Account
  • a birth certificate (only if a player has never played hockey)
  • a recent utility bill or a bank statement showing player's address
  • at least one parent's operator's licence showing player's address
  • a school registration or a recent report card (for 7-year-old players or older)
  • a completed Parent / Guardian Declaration form (for players moving into the Foothills boundaries)

 

FMHA will continue to provide a stepped approach to payment.

 

If paying by Credit Card

The first payment of $200 will be collected upon registration.

Subsequent payments will be collected on June 1st, July 1st, August 1st, September 1st, October 1st, November 1st and final payment on December 1st.

If paying by E Transfer

The first payment of $200 needs to be sent when you register and the remaining balance split into 5 subsequent payments and are to be sent on June 1st, July 1st, August 1st, September 1st, October 1st, November 1st and final payment on December 1st.

If you wish to pay by any other means please arrange this with the FMHA Treasurer.

All registrations/initial payments received after August 15 will be subject to a late registration fee of $100.

 

All Payments need to be paid in full by December 1st

 

ACCOUNT BALANCE

If you are looking to see what the balance is on your players account you will need to log in on your desktop, with the original email you used to set up your account.  Once you've logged in you will be able to see your players dashboard with the account balance.

 

REGISTRATION FEES - Fees will be updated in May for 2025-2026 season

U7 (5 & 6 years as of Dec 31 Born in 2019 & 2020) - $750.00

U9 (7 & 8 years as of Dec 31 Born in 2017 & 2018) - $875.00

U11 (9 & 10 years as of Dec 31 Born in 2015 & 2016) - $1275.00

U13 (11 & 12 years as of Dec 31 Born in 2013 & 2014) - $1300.00

U15 (13 & 14 years as of Dec 31 Born in 2011 & 2012) - $1325.00

U18 (15, 16 & 17 years as of Dec 31 Born in 2008, 2009, & 2010) - $1400.00

Families with 3 or more kids registered in FMHA qualify for a 15% discount. For more information email our treasurer.

Financial Assistance

Do you or someone you know have questions about financial assistance options available?

The first step is for the family to apply through Kid Sport or Jumpstart. When the applicant has applied through one of these programs, their application will be considered on a case by case basis for additional funding through the FMHA bursary. If you have any questions we will be happy to answer them. Please contact our treasurer.
